Eric Holder and Al Sharpton announce 2016 White House run

By Christopher Rice

Support is building behind the scenes among top Democratic Party operatives close to Obama to position Attorney General Eric Holder to run for president in 2016.

Politico justasked outgoing Attorney General Eric Holder, “Are you and Al Sharpton making a bid for the White House in 2016?” The interviewer who had the temerity to make such an outrageous suggestion was Mike Allen, Politico’s chief White House correspondent.

AG Holder sees no problem, Mr. Sharpton has been to the White House on many occasions. Holder saw no problem with Rev. Sharpton becoming the second most powerful man in the world. A surprise pick sure to shake up the race and reinforce the idea of the Attorney General as a reformer.

In picking Sharpton, Holder is taking a calculated risk. He is well known on the national stage but also has impressive credentials in his time in public life.

Of Sharpton, former White House political Svengali Karl Rove said this morning on Fox News Channel: "Well, I th…

Anarchist bomb US Attorney Generals office

In seven U.S. cities, on evening of June 2, 1919, all within approximately 90 minutes of one another, bombs of extraordinary capacity rocked some of the biggest urban areas in America, including New York; Boston; Pittsburgh; Cleveland; Washington; D.C.; Philadelphia; and Patterson, New Jersey. The bombings were a concerted effort among U.S. based anarchists who were most likely disciples of Luigi Galleani, a vehemently radical anarchist who advocated violence as a means to effect change, to rid the world of laws and capitalism.

Anarchism is a belief that society should have no government, laws, police, or any other authority. The majority of anarchists in the U.S. advocate change through non-violent, non-criminal means. However, a small minority, believes change can only be accomplished through violence and criminal acts.

(How to) Stop a CIA Color Revolution (for Dummies)

By Christopher Rice

What is particularly surprising about the current color revolution unfolding in the Ukraine is that this nation was the site of the very same CIA implementation plan back in 2004/2005. The Orange Revolution, as it was known at the time, was a classic CIA-engineered plot to impose their political outcome on the Ukrainian people. And they succeeded with flying colors.

That CIA-sponsored coup d’etat was so successful that it has since been used as a model for every other CIA-manufactured scheme that has toppled governments and reversed fair election outcomes the world over. In fact, the Ukraine is where the various social network utilities were used so effectively that the new MO has become known as the digital blitzkrieg. Never in human history have so many citizens been stampeded in the direction of overthrowing their government while being completely ignorant of the real forces manipulating the cattle prods.

Many commentators have wondered how the current protests h…

The C.I.A. and Nelson Mandela

By Joseph Albright and Marcia Kunstel

WASHINGTON — For nearly 28 years the U.S. government has harbored an increasingly embarrassing secret: A CIA tip to South African intelligence agents led to the arrest that put black nationalist leader Nelson Mandela in prison for most of his adult life.

A former U.S. official has revealed that he has known of the CIA role since Mandela was seized by agents of the South African police special branch on Aug. 5, 1962.

The former official, now retired, said that within hours after Mandela`s arrest Paul Eckel, then a senior CIA operative, walked into his office and said approximately these words: “We have turned Mandela over to the South African security branch. We gave them every detail, what he would be wearing, the time of day, just where he would be. They have picked him up. It is one of our greatest coups.“

With Mandela out of prison, the retired official decided there is no longer a valid reason for secrecy. He called the American role in the affair

FBI says the Government Is Spying on Americans with Drones, Too

EPIC, is currently suing the FBI over its refusal to publish its privacy impact assessments, is completely baffled by the collective shrug offered by these two agencies -- one which is supposed to craft and publish its assessments and that's supposed to provide (obviously needed) oversight. Both seem equally uninterested in fulfilling the requirements of their jobs.

I am really getting sick of this crap the federal alphabet agencies are pulling and that more people don't understand what damage they are doing to the whole damn country.

FBI director Robert Mueller said the government has used surveillance drones in the U.S. — though “in a very, very minimal way, very seldom” — at a Senate hearing on Wednesday. “It’s very seldom used and generally used in a particular incident when you need the capability,” Mueller said before the judiciary committee. “It is very narrowly focused on particularized cases and particularized needs.” He said he did not know what happens to the images …

From Wikipedia: On October 4, 1961, Bruce was arrested for obscenity[27] at the Jazz Workshop in San Francisco; he had used the word cocksucker and riffed that "to is a preposition, come is a verb", that the sexual context of come is so common that it bears no weight, and that if someone hearing it …

Drug Stings: Are Undercover Cops Invading Your Campus?

By Christopher Rice

Recent busts have rocked high schools in Texas, Washington, and Tennessee. In California's Perris Union High School District—where 24 students from two high schools were arrested late last year—Jonathan Greenberg, the superintendent says that he has no regrets about OK'ing the sting. For the students caught selling drugs, he says, the arrests send a strong message: "We hope for them that this is the worst day of their lives." As for the other students, they "have a right to go to the bathroom without this kind of nefarious behavior happening around them."

Undercover stings are a drastic measure in the war against drugs and they're usually accompanied by other methods. Briana Southern, 17, says that police with drug detection dogs have searched her AP classrooms in Lakewood, California several times over the past couple of years.
