Are police officers allowed to lie to you? Yes the Supreme Court has ruled that police officers can lie to the American people. Police officers are trained at lying, twisting words and being manipulative. Police officers and other law enforcement agents are very skilled at getting information from people. So don’t try to “out smart” a police officer and don’t try being a “smooth talker” because you will lose! If you can keep your mouth shut, you just might come out ahead more than you expected.

Prostitution sting in Gates yields heroin, cocaine

Gates, N.Y. - Gates Police arrested three people Thursday morning in an undercover prostitution sting.

Police said around 10:30 a.m., officers arrested 21-year-old Kayleigh Inman of Chili for prostitution at a motel in Gates.

During the arrest, police found 26-year-old Stephanie Nitsche and 19-year-old Darius Townsend, both of Rochester, hiding in the motel bathroom.

In addition, 80 decks of heroin, a larger baggie of heroin and six baggies of cocaine were found in the motel room.

All three were charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd and criminal possession of a controlled substance 5th degree.

All three were processed at the Gates Police Department.

The investigation stems from an escort ad on that listed a location of 'Gates.'
