12 arrested in Fort Pierce in prostitution sting

FORT PIERCE — St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office deputies recently arrested 12 people during a prostitution investigation focusing on the backpage.com website, according to affidavits.



In some cases, investigators communicated with women found on the website, and in others, undercover deputies posing as prostitutes advertised on the site.

Backpage.com is an online classifieds type website with a wide variety of items listed.



The arrests began Friday and continued into Saturday at or in the area of the Sleep Inn in the 2700 block of Crossroads Parkway in Fort Pierce. The establishment is off Okeechobee Road between Florida’s Turnpike and Interstate 95.



Most of those arrested listed addresses in St. Lucie County, though one was from Boca Raton and another had an address in Illinois.



In one case, a deputy went through an ad stating “Make your fantasy a reality” and agreed to an encounter for $250, records show.

Those arrested are:
  • Courtney Chiulli, 26, of Port St. Lucie, solicitation of prostitution (first offense), cocaine possession, possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana
  • Linsey Grantham, 32, of Fort Pierce, solicitation of prostitution (first offense)
  • Casey Dolnick, 24, of Port St. Lucie, solicitation of prostitution (first offense)
  • Chelsea Armentrout, 24, of Fort Pierce, solicitation of prostitution (third offense)
  • Carla Tonzini, 35, of Port St. Lucie, solicitation of prostitution (second offense)
  • Shelby Freeland, 24, of Fort Pierce, solicitation of prostitution (first offense)
  • Fritz Facon, 52, of Boca Raton, attempted sale of marijuana, procuring funds from prostitution, possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Noel Bibriesca, 25, of Illinois, solicitation of prostitution (first offense)
  • Eduardo Hernandez, 39, of Fort Pierce, solicitation of prostitution (first offense)
  • Justin Lanni, 29, of Port St. Lucie, solicitation of prostitution (first offense)
  • Frantzer Clauvil, 33, of Fort Pierce, solicitation of prostitution (first offense)
  • Matthew Debois, 36, of Stuart, solicitation of prostitution (first offense)
