Police allege a Southport man charged after a drug raid is linked to the Hells Angels.

Ice, cannabis and prescription drugs with an estimated $40,000 street value, along with more than $43,000 in cash, were seized by police in a raid on a Gold Coast house on Monday.

The raid was orchestrated by Queensland's anti-bikie squad, Taskforce Maxima, as part of an investigation targeting Hells Angels links to Gold Coast drug supply.

Taskforce Maxima Detective Acting Inspector Russell Jones said a 27-year-old Southport man had been charged with multiple drug offences.

"As seen by the nature of the drugs and cash seized, it is clear these gangs operate out of greed with no concern for the welfare of the community," he said.

"Investigations are ongoing and these people need to understand we will be unrelenting in targeting their unlawful activities."

The man is due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on October 27.
