News of rapper Ice Cube’s death spread quickly earlier this week causing concern among fans across the world. However the November 2018 report has now been confirmed as a complete hoax and just the latest in a string of fake celebrity death reports. Thankfully, the rapper best known for his role in Boyz n the Hood is alive and well.

Ice Cube death hoax spreads on Facebook
Rumors of the rapper’s alleged demise gained traction on Thursday after a ‘R.I.P. Ice Cube’ Facebook page attracted nearly one million of ‘likes’. Those who read the ‘About’ page were given a believable account of the American rapper’s passing:

Arrest the President

By Alicia McKinney

Earlier this year, on November 9, Ice Cube released a heated new single called “Arrest the President.” The song took aim at Donald Trump and sparked controversy immediately upon release. The recent single was a lead-up to his new album Everythang’s Corrupt, which is slated to hit record stores and streaming platforms on December 7.

Despite being a highly polarizing song, “Arrest the President” has already garnered over a million views on YouTube.

According to a report from Hot New Hip Hop, Ice Cube’s new album now officially has a tracklist, kicking off with the intro track “Super OG” and ending with the song “Good Cop, Bad Cop.” The song titles suggest that Ice Cube hasn’t strayed far from his previous gangsta-rap roots and is still as aggressive as ever. Also, the rapper will apparently be collaborating with rapper Too $hort for the new album on the song “Ain’t Got No Haters.”

Ice Cube also took to Twitter today, reminding fans that the album will be a…

Prosecutor: Prince thought he was taking common painkiller

Image
By Amy Forliti

Prince thought he was taking a common painkiller but instead ingested a counterfeit pill containing the dangerously powerful drug fentanyl, a Minnesota prosecutor said Thursday as he announced that no charges would be filed in the musician's death.

Carver County Attorney Mark Metz said Prince had suffered from pain for years and was addicted to pain medication. While some of the superstar's associates might have enabled his drug habit and tried to protect his privacy, authorities found "no direct evidence that a specific person provided the fentanyl."

"In all likelihood, Prince had no idea that he was taking a counterfeit pill that could kill him," Metz said.

The investigative materials — including documents, photos and videos — were posted online Thursday afternoon. Several videos show the pop superstar's body on the floor of his Paisley Park estate, near an elevator. He is on his back, his head on the floor, eyes closed. His …

Missing Persons is an American band that plays a blend of new wave and hard rock. The band was founded in 1980 in Los Angeles by guitarist Warren Cuccurullo, vocalist Dale Bozzio, and drummer Terry Bozzio. They later added bassist Patrick O'Hearn and keyboardist Chuck Wild.

Dale's quirky voice and heavy makeup made the band a favorite on MTV in the early 1980s. Her revealing outfits played a pivotal role in moving the culture of music videos towards that of overt sexual exhibitionism.[1]

Dale and Terry Bozzio met while working with Frank Zappa, and they married in 1979.[2] Cuccurullo encountered the pair while contributing to the Zappa album Joe's Garage (1979). O'Hearn was also a former member of Zappa's touring band, and Wild had played with a variety of bands before joining. Continue reading: Missing Persons

Talking Heads were an American rock band formed in 1975 in New York City and active until 1991.[9] The band comprised David Byrne (lead vocals, guitar), Chris Frantz (drums), Tina Weymouth (bass), and Jerry Harrison (keyboards, guitar). Described by critic Stephen Thomas Erlewine as "one of the most critically acclaimed bands of the '80s",[3] the group helped to pioneer new wave music by integrating elements of punk, art rock, funk, and world music with avant-garde sensibilities and an anxious, clean-cut image.[3]

The Anunnaki Creation Story: The Biggest Secret in Human History - Nibiru is Coming

445 000 years ago, “creator gods” – as they call it – came to Earth. They were called the Anunnaki, which means “Those Who from Heaven to Earth Came”. These beings inhabited a distant orbiting planet called Nibiru, which only entered our solar system every 3,600 years. They describe Nibiru as many times the diameter of Earth, and abundant with iron oxide, making its rivers and lakes appear red. A side note about Nibiru: according to the Sumerian tablets, Nibiru’s atmosphere began to deteriorate and became a hostile place for life, and in order to restore it, the Annunaki needed one important element for their atmosphere: gold.

Operation Bayonet: Inside the Sting That Hijacked an Entire Dark Web Drug Market

Image
By WIRED

For any one who has watched the last few years of cat-and-mouse games on the dark web's black markets, the pattern is familiar: A contraband bazaar like the Silk Road attracts thousands of drug dealers and their customers, along with intense scrutiny from police and three-letter agencies.
Authorities hunt down its administrators, and tear the site offline in a dramatic takedown—only to find that its buyers and sellers have simply migrated to the next dark-web market on their list.

So when Dutch police got onto the trail of the popular dark-web marketplace Hansa in the fall of 2016, they decided on a different approach: Not a mere takedown, but a takeover.

In interviews with WIRED, ahead of a talk they plan to give at Kaspersky Security Analyst Summit Thursday, two Netherlands National High Tech Crime Unit officers detailed their 10-month investigation into Hansa, once the largest dark-web market in Europe. At its height, Hansa's 3,600 dealers offered more t…
